Undoubtedly our biggest wedding event last season, Yadey and Adam's three-day extravaganza was a gorgeous and glorious affair that celebrated not just the wedding of these two extraordinary people, it was also a beautiful convergence of Jewish and Ethiopian traditions, old and new friendships, families and friends from near and far.
Yadey and Adam (or "Yadam," their very apt Hollywood-equivalent nickname) wanted a highlights video that incorporated their welcome dinner, the wedding in the
Berkshires, and the wedding in
Manhattan... the result is this extended highlights piece that we are very excited to share with you. Extra points go to those who pick up on the other Hollywood reference. (Please make sure you have 20 minutes of uninterrupted viewing time to experience the fullness of the video:)
Congratulations, Yadey and Adam! --------------I must mention the talents of our partners in coverage crime, photographer Todd Laffler and his second photographer Bob, who were tireless in coming up with flawless stills from all three days. See here, here, and here for the images from Yadey and Adam's wedding events.
For the truly curious, the music used in the video include songs by The Dissociatives, Ana Laan, This Will Destroy You, Lymbyc Systym, Saxon Shore, Moi Caprice, Mono, and Sigur Ros (yes, that many!).
As a bride-to-be on a tight budget, I recently discovered an online bridal jewelry store called GlamForLess.com.
Though their website is plain and simple, I found some great deals on jewelry sets for me and my bridesmaids.
I think other readers on a tight budget may also find GlamForLess.com to be helpful.
You may want to check them out at http://www.glamforless.com/ and inform other readers about it.
Keep up the good work.
Best regards,
Lisa Bloom
