So we've just gotten back from a refreshing trip to the Philippines where Rob addressed members of the Real Estate Brokers Association, and where we spent quality time with family and recharged our creative batteries.
The break worked like a charm-- we are feeling the creative powers of the universe and are very proud to present you this clip from Sarah & Matt's wedding. It is a much-awaited post mainly by us, because we've been wanting to finish and post this video clip for so long but I just couldn't get it done fast enough while away.
So this wedding. It was incredibly special. Was it because Sarah was the first bride to ever book us in NYC (we hadn't even launched our website yet!)? Perhaps it was because the wedding had a truly fun and indie spirit about it (extra points go to Sarah for an Indy Jones reference in her speech)? Or was it just that I got so emotionally involved in the ceremony that I was bawling like a baby when I walked up to Rabbi Joy to tell her how much I loved it? Perhaps it was due to the fact that Sarah and Matt are one of the coolest couples we've ever worked with? Obviously, it was all of the above and much, much more.
There is so much evidence of Sarah and Matt's deep love and respect for each other. They are so loved by everyone around them that it was just inspiring. I was struck by how much thought and preparation was put into making the evening so fun and enjoyable, and yet nothing about it felt contrived. Everything was so spontaneous, joyful and whimsical-- truly reflective of their personalities.
We had the great pleasure of working with our dear friend Laura Nadeau who provided Sarah's runway makeup. Christine Viola and her team at Exquisite Affairs ensured that the proceedings went smoothly, and Danny Weiss did an awesome job of photographing the couple, really letting their personalities come through.
So now, ladies and gents, please enjoy this wedding clip from Sarah and Matt's wedding at the Unisphere. Watch it til the end, it's worth it. Matt and Sarah-- we hope this meets your expectation!

Leyda & Rob - I just wanted to say that it was by far an absolute pleasure working with you both, and now that I have "living proof" of your amazing talent - I look forward to working with you in the future.
This clip of Sarah & Matt's fantastic day really summed up how amazing the two of them are, for there is not one moment where they are NOT smiling from cheek to cheek!

Hire these freaky, punky, half-Philippino, slightly-Australian geniuses before they get knighted and move to Outer Space! We would need to grow another heart to love Rockmelon more!
