One of the cutest couples ever, here is Lauren and Willy's highlights from their wedding at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers:

Noa and John in Westhampton Beach, NY

Here they are.  Noa and John.  Two beautiful people.

 It all started at Noa’s mother’s beach house. I remember how Noa changed when John finally came over for their “first look.”  She was calmed, comfortable, and in love. 

The music is performed by my favorite band of all time – the Kissaway Trail.  I have just recently completed documenting their tour in Germany, so I thought it very fitting to use this beautiful song for such a lovely wedding in Westhampton Beach, New York.

Jade and Rich: From San Francisco to Tarrytown

Our adorable pair met at Syracuse in college years ago and celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Abigail Kirsch-run Tappan Hill... talk about long-distance planning: Jade and Rich live in and planned the wedding from San Francisco (with the help of Rich's mom Jane and the ever-calm and collected wedding planner Meghan Walls).

You wouldn't guess that it was raining outside from all the warmth, fun and celebration happening indoors.  Their fantastic band Faze 4 didn't allow people to get off the dance floor.  Watch how Jade, Rich and their friends and families had a wonderful time:

It was our first time working with photographer Jimmy Ryan (shown in the video for a moment of glory with the bride and groom towards the end), and we had a blast!

Sarah and Ben at Apple Barn Farm

Wedding celebrations are beautiful and joyful. And then there are weddings that are so full of joy and beauty, love and happiness that they are transformative. They are so memorable and glorious that they stay with you long after the wedding day. 

Such was how everyone-- family, guests, and vendors alike-- felt at Sarah and Ben's wedding. Providing the picture-perfect setting was the rustic and charming Apple Barn Farm.  We were all witnesses to something extremely special.

To describe the wedding would not do it justice... although Ben's best man sums it up and tags it "BWE" (look out for it in the video)-- it's not too difficult to figure out.

As the ones in charge of committing the events and the exuberant atmosphere to video memory, it was both a great honor and challenge to bring out the sheer emotion felt on the day and reflect it on here.  After doing countless edits on this piece, it was the heartfelt and beautifully written vows that Sarah and Ben wrote that became the overarching theme of the video, and oh my wow, it's pretty amazing how these guys can eloquently express their love for each other.

Carolyn and Anthony at Cape May

Carolyn was a bridesmaid at Jenna & Mark's wedding from 2007 and it's such a pleasure to see familiar faces at a wedding.  Carolyn and Anthony got married at a gorgeous setting in Cape May, with a beautiful bridal party around them.

Their first dance was to the classic "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" which we used for the highlights:

Sharra and Mark, Monteverde at Oldstone Manor

Here's a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Monteverde at Oldstone Manor in Cortlandt Manor, NY.  

Sharra put a twist to walking down the aisle by arranging the chairs at her wedding to Mark in a spiral fashion. The video clip starts out with one of the most popular Bible passages at weddings, 1 Corinthians 13:4, which, when delivered with meaning and importance, soars so beautifully.  Here, Mark and Sharra's officiant reads the passage so brilliantly:

Sherien & Randy's wedding at The Tobacco Warehouse

Yes, yes, there have been incredible delays between posts and the weddings...

But late is definitely better than never as we share with you this clip from last year's wedding at The Tobacco Warehouse inside the Empire-Fulton Ferry Park in Brooklyn.  

The event was a gorgeous feast for the eyes. With awesome views of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan and the unique warehouse space as a backdrop, there was no denying this was a different kind of wedding. From Randy and Sherien's zafra-ushered entrance, to belly dancing and flamenco dancers (Sherien's surprise for Randy), the Egyptian- and Dominican-infused celebration was a truly memorable event, made even more remarkable by our dazzling pair.

Yadey & Adam's 3-Day Wedding Affair

Undoubtedly our biggest wedding event last season, Yadey and Adam's three-day extravaganza was a gorgeous and glorious affair that celebrated not just the wedding of these two extraordinary people, it was also a beautiful convergence of Jewish and Ethiopian traditions, old and new friendships, families and friends from near and far.

Yadey and Adam (or "Yadam," their very apt Hollywood-equivalent nickname) wanted a highlights video that incorporated their welcome dinner, the wedding in the Berkshires, and the wedding in Manhattan... the result is this extended highlights piece that we are very excited to share with you. Extra points go to those who pick up on the other Hollywood reference. (Please make sure you have 20 minutes of uninterrupted viewing time to experience the fullness of the video:)

Congratulations, Yadey and Adam! --------------I must mention the talents of our partners in coverage crime, photographer Todd Laffler and his second photographer Bob, who were tireless in coming up with flawless stills from all three days. See here, here, and here for the images from Yadey and Adam's wedding events.

Tristan and Melissa's Roosevelt Island Wedding

If you've ever been by the East River of Manhattan (driving on FDR Drive, for instance), you may have caught a glimpse of the Renwick Ruins (otherwise known as The Smallpox Hospital) on Roosevelt Island.  It's a great backdrop for wedding photos... I hear there are plans for it to be converted to a concert venue.
This was our first Roosevelt Island Wedding-- and in fact, Tristan and Melissa's was one of the first weddings celebrated at Southpoint Park.  It was a memorable day for many reasons, but mostly because our glowing couple was enveloped by so much love, beauty, cheer, and views of Manhattan:

Marissa and Jim at The Lighthouse

When you see the bride doing knuckle bumps (using the bridal bouquet with the girls, as well as the real thing with her groom); the guys playing poker and drinking beer in the morning; the Brooklyn Bridge and Chelsea Piers as a backdrop; add to that the fact that the bridal party is large-- you know you have a cool and well-loved couple.
